SAM PM is a self-study CME program that covers established knowledge in the subspecialty field of pain medicine. With the SAM-PM program you can assess areas of strength and weakness in pain medicine knowledge and target ongoing education in these areas.
Content includes 100 questions with answers, detailed discussions explaining the rationale for each answer and references for further study. Subscribers complete the program at their own pace and submit the answers online to receive CME credit.
This self-assessment activity helps fulfill the self-assessment CME requirement for Part 2 of the Maintenance of Certification in Anesthesiology Program (MOCA®) of The American Board of Anesthesiology (ABA®). Please consult the ABA website, www.theABA.org, for a list of all MOCA requirements.
SAM PM was developed through a partnership between The American Society of Regional Anesthesia and Pain Medicine (ASRA) and The American Society of Anesthesiologists (ASA).

Learning Objectives:
After successfully completing this activity, the learner will be able to assess the current state of his or her knowledge of anesthesia topics specific to pain medicine and identify knowledge gaps, and develop a strategy and measure progress in filling identified gaps using resources provided as references within the program.
