Course Description
ACE is a self-study CME program that covers established knowledge in the field of anesthesiology, including subspecialty content tailored to the generalist. With the ACE program you can assess areas of strength and weakness in accepted anesthesiology knowledge and target ongoing education in these areas. Credits earned through ACE can be used to help fulfill the CME requirements for the Part 2 Lifelong Learning and Self-Assessment component of the American Board of Anesthesiology’s Maintenance of Certification in Anesthesiology (MOCA®) program.
The ACE program is available online or as a booklet. The format consists of two issues, one each in April and October. Each issue presents 100 questions with answers, detailed discussions explaining the rationale for each answer and references for further study. Subscribers complete the program at their own pace and submit the answers online to receive CME credit.

Learning Objectives:
After successfully completing this activity, the learner will be able to assess the current state of his or her knowledge of fundamental and subspecialty anesthesia topics and identify knowledge gaps, and develop a strategy and measure progress in filling identified gaps using resources provided as references within the program.
